MOCA targetting 17 locations in major operation across Kingston, St. Catherine and Westmoreland

The Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA) is confirming that members of the Agency’s operational and investigative team are currently involved in a joint operation alongside personnel from the Financial Investigation Division (FID), the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), and soldiers from the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF), at 17 locations across the parishes of Kingston, St Catherine and Westmoreland.

The operations are aimed at executing search warrants at the various locations, in connection with an ongoing investigation into allegations of serious organized crime.

According to Major Basil Jarrett, Director of Communications at MOCA, the agency is unable to divulge further details at this point, as the investigations and operations are ongoing.
