STELLA MARIS INVESTIGATION

The Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA) is aware of the ongoing concern regarding recent threats made against members of the Stella Maris school community. MOCA wishes to advise the public that the matter is being investigated jointly between the Agency and the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF).

Given the concerns regarding safety and security at the institution, the JCF has stepped up its presence on the school compound and continues to monitor and assess the environment.

At this point, MOCA is unable to comment further on the investigation, but wishes to reassure the public and the Stella Maris community that the Agency is treating the matter with the highest priority and urgency and will update the public, where appropriate.
